I’m a genius with the titles, right? Dallas was off to a slow start (as usual) but woke up out of their somnambulist lull by the end of the 2nd half, to send the 49ers a clear message: We’re taking you out. Too bad they couldn’t keep the 49ers at 9 points. But the ‘Boys won … 35-22, which makes them 7-4 and in 2nd place on the NFC East. While the 49ers lick and treat their wounds, they’re 3-8 and 2nd on the NFC West.

T.O. had an amazing game today, so congrats to him! The less bitching this guy does, the better we’re all off. Romo, should change his name to Tony Thromo after those three touchdown passes…with a healing pinky, I might add. Nice.

Do you remember Mortal Kombat 3 for the Super Nintendo? Do you even remember Super Nintendo? Well, that’s ok – we all don’t remember crap from fifteen years ago. But I specifically remembered a quote from the beginning of the game:

    Did you get that?
There is no knowledge that is not power.

Crap! This quote confused me like you wouldn’t believe! Only recently (and by recently, I mean four or five years ago) have I figured out what it means: knowledge is power.

They could’ve gone with “Knowledge is power!”, but I think someone used that already…

    Tony Romo and Roy Williams

They’re still in it! After the 14-10 victory over the Washington Redskins, the Dallas Cowboys have a chance to make it to the playoffs. The Cowboys are 6-4, marking them 3rd on the NFC East, while the Redskins are 6-4 with 2nd place.

The best part was when they played “Rock n’ Roll Part 2″. Everyone sang along: ‘Naa, na, na-na, na-na – YOU SUCK! Na-na, na-na.’ Of course, it was all the more funny when their ‘Skins lost. Stay classy, Washington.

The next two games should be easy wins for the ‘Boys – they play the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks, respectivly. The rest is a tall mountain to climb …

    [All times are CST]

Sun 11/23 San Francisco (3-7-0, 2nd NFC West) 12:00 pm
    Thu 11/27 Seattle (2-8-0, 3rd NFC West) 3:15 pm
Sun 12/7 at Pittsburgh (7-3-0, 1st AFC North) 3:15 pm
Sun 12/14 NY Giants (9-1-0, 1st NFC East) 7:15 pm
    Sat 12/20 Baltimore (6-4-0, 2nd AFC North) 7:15 pm
Sun 12/28 at Philadelphia (5-4-1, 4th NFC East) 12:00 pm

Although, I don’t condone cheating, Mofiki is a cool forum with some macros for MySpace Apps – such as Mobsters, Heros and Rockstars. They contain no spyware or malware – they are 100% clean – and they’re easy to install.

[If you don't know what a 'macro' is, read about it here.]

Around 2004, I was at a local Goodwill browsing the ‘music’ section. [You'd be amazed at the music they have.] And to my surprise, was a cassette that had ‘dynamite boy’ displayed on the spine. I picked it up and whaddaya know? — I had found an EP (or maybe a demo) of Dynamite Boy!

One of the best melodic punk bands (or pop-punk) to come out of Austin! I kick myself in the head every now and then, from never having seen these guys live.

Way to go, Johnson! The Cowboys beat the Buccaneers by four points, 9-13 – without Romo! Hope your pinky gets better, buddy, ’cause you’re gonna wish you pulled a Ronnie Lott when the Giants steamroll us.

Oh, I’m sorry – were you expecting me to be a delusional fan? Nope,…ain’t my style. Plus, I think we all learned our lesson from Pats’ fans last year, no?

If you were like me and was sheltered from ‘cultic’ video games as a child, then here’s a synopsis of Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest – from The Castlevania Dungeon:

It’s been a few years since the original Castlevania, and instead of reveling in the spoils of his victory against Dracula, Simon Belmont has fallen ill underneath Dracula’s curse. The only way to save himself is by adventuring through the countryside to find Dracula’s body parts – which have been mysteriously scattered all about – and burn them.

Well, if the plot of the game doesn’t scare you, then playing this game at night – alone, will do it for you. Along with that frickin’ face that cries blood. Speaking of crying blood…

One of the best songs on Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest, is “Bloody Tears”. It has been remixed to hell and back, but nothing – and I mean nothing – trumps the original.

They go and let the NFL Network make a commercial that uses a cover of Morrissey’s “Everday is Like Sunday”.

Are you kidding me?! That song is too depressing for football! Why couldn’t they use The Replacements’ cover of KISS’ “Black Diamond”? Maybe, because it’s about a prostitute.

Oh, well…who hasn’t whored themselves out to the NFL? Not Morrissey, that’s for sure.

“Mr. Goodell, Gene Simmons is on ‘Line 1′”.

  • Cowboys are 3-0!

The Cowboys are 3-0, beating the Packers 27-16 in Green Bay – making this the first game Dallas has won in Lambeau Field (they are now 1-5 in Green Bay). The Dallas Cowboys, along with the New York Giants, are the only undefeated teams in the NFC East.

The mighty Patriots are now 2-1; having lost to the Miami Dolphins, 38-13 in Foxborough. No, your monitor needs no adjusting – the Pats lost to the Phins, thus ending their 21 straight regular-season wins. The Patriots have proved, once again, that they are human beings and not Greek Gods, as their fans had all thought (or hoped). Kind of makes you feel sorry for this guy, doesn’t it?

Now, Tony Romo on the other hand, always proves that he’s human. What, with the fumbles and interceptions and failure to convert on 3rd downs – when it counts. Every fricken game is like this. And yes, I know…the playoffs. But, he makes up for his mistakes – when it counts. Now, that’s a real human being. And yes, I know…the playoffs!
